From now 3 actions :

Polarization fixed window 3D : ( inside the new window opened, we can zoom unzoom, filter , ...etc. ). This function computes the polarization properties from the eigen vectors of the 3 D covariance matrix [NN* ZZ* EE*].

Polarization fixed window 2D : This function computes the polarization properties from the eigen vectors of the 2D x 2D covariance matrix [NN* EE*]. [LL* ZZ*] : the longitudinal componant L, is computed from the the [NE] componant, then the radial componant is calculated from the [LZ] comp. Basically 3D and 2Dx2D gives the same results, excepted for bad polarisation states, where the results can differ.

Evolutive polarization : This is a polarisation function computed on a moving time window. You can adjust in this menu the window length and the step in time. Many filters are also available, with zoom, unzoom ..etc. The azimuth and incidence angles are plotted, and the polarization coefficients are given with a color scale.

Instantaneous polarization : This is function computes the instantaneous azimuth and incidence until point by point, if the length of the moving window is equal to the sampling period ; this is the value by default. This function is not adapted for seismic data (that are generaly centered on zero), but rather on non-centered data (like earth magnetic field for example)
